The 70th Week Of Daniel Deception

Understanding the seven years of the 70th week of Daniel is very important, because of the truth about their fulfillment, and the deceptions which are based on them.

The truth is that the 70th week of Daniel started when Messiah was baptized at age 30, and anointed by the Spirit.

Messiah’s ministry took place during the first half of the 7 years; so it’s not possible that it is yet future.

The truth is that the covenant of Daniel 9:27 is not just a 7-year covenant, as we’ve been led to believe.

It is the everlasting covenant, the same one that Abraham was saved by, as he believed by faith that the Father would provide a Lamb to atone for his sins.

The truth is that Messiah and His Disciples fulfilled the 70th week of Daniel, from 27-34 A.D., when they confirmed with the Jews for 7 years that He is the promised Messiah, who ratified the everlasting covenant with His blood as the Passover Lamb.

Messiah confirmed that He was the promised Messiah through His miracles, His wisdom, His knowledge of the Hebrew letters, His fulfillment of prophecy, and by His resurrection.

After Messiah’s ascension, the Apostles continued to confirm to the Jews that He is the promised Messiah, by proclaiming how He fulfilled prophecy and how He rose again.

On Pentecost, 3,000 Jews were saved from the witness of the Apostles being filled with the Spirit, and preaching the Gospel in their languages. The Church of Messiah is built on a foundation of Jews, who accepted Messiah as their Savior.

Paul proclaimed Jew first, and so it was. The seven years ended when the Jewish leaders stoned the Apostle Stephen to death, when he proclaimed that they had killed their promised Messiah.

Immediately after Stephen’s death, the Gospel was also shared with the Gentiles.  The disciples were scattered throughout Judea and preached the Gospel. Philip was led to the Ethiopian Eunuch, who was saved. Saul was converted to be the Apostle to Gentiles. Peter was given the vision of the unclean animals, which represented that the everlasting covenant was to be preached to the Gentile nations. The Samaritans received salvation and the Spirit of the Father.

Scripture clearly shows us how the 70th week of Daniel was fulfilled, as Messiah and His Apostles confirmed with the Jews that He is their promised Messiah.

Some accepted Him and were saved, but most rejected Him and were condemned.

The deception is that the 70th week of Daniel hasn’t been fulfilled yet.

We’ve been told that it is about an end-times antichrist who makes a 7-year peace agreement with Israel, which starts a 7-year tribulation period.

The Jesuits created this deception in the 16th century to deflect blame away from the Popes of Rome, as the Protestant Reformers had rightly identified them as the Little Horn of Daniel, Son of Perdition of 2 Thessalonians 2, and antichrist beast of Revelation 13.

They had Jesuit Priest Francisco Ribera, a brilliant man with a doctorate in theology, write a 500 page commentary with an opposing view, where he manipulated prophecies in the books of Daniel and Revelation, to create the narrative of a one-man antichrist in an end-time 7-year tribulation.

This idea, called Futurism, was quickly adopted as the Roman Catholic Church’s official position on the Antichrist.

The true Church effectively rejected these futuristic concepts until the 19th century, when the Jesuits caused several people to promote these concepts; including Pastor Edward Irving, John Nelson Darby and Cyrus Ingerson Scofield, which led to these deceptions being taught at Dallas Theological Seminary, where the leaven of the Jesuits deceptions have spread around the world.

The historical witness of the many persecuted believers and theologians of the past have been pushed aside, and futurism is now taught by most Pastors.

I understand that this explanation of the 70th week of Daniel may be new to you, so I want to step back and take a child-like, logical view of the prophecy.

Simply ask yourself:

How long does it take the Father to fulfill His own 70 week prophecy?

The obvious and correct answer is 70 weeks.  If a 70 week prophecy is given and it is not fulfilled in 70 consecutive weeks, then the prophecy is not valid.

What week follows the 69th week?

The obvious answer is the 70th week, but the enemy would have you believe that there is a 1,990+ year time gap between the 69th and 70th week, even though there is no such time gap defined in Daniel 9.

Daniel 9:25 mentions the arrival of the promised Messiah, and then Daniel 9:27 mentions a ‘covenant‘. Whose covenant do you suppose that it is referring to?

Isn’t it logical to assume that it is Messiah’s covenant, as the reason that He came was to die to ratify the everlasting covenant with His blood as the Passover Lamb?

The text even proclaims that He was ‘cut off‘, meaning that He was killed, in the middle of the seven years, which matches Isaiah’s prophecy about the promised Messiah, in Isaiah 53:8, “He was taken from prison and from judgment. And as for His generation, who considered that He shall be cut off from the land of the living? For the transgression of My people He was stricken.

The consequences of the 70 Weeks of Daniel deception are grand!

The enemy’s end times deception is based on the concept of a futuristic 70th week of Daniel.

It causes people to look for an end times one-man Antichrist, instead of identifying the office of the papacy as the beast of Revelation, the Little Horn of Daniel and the Son of Perdition.

This is the very reason that the end times 7 year tribulation deception was created by the Roman Catholic Church.

They were being accused by the Protestant Reformers of being the Antichrist system who persecuted the saints.

The Protestant Reformers told people to ‘come out of her‘, which caused millions of people to leave the Roman Catholic Church and be saved by the pure Gospel of Messiah.

The enemy has programmed our minds to view the 70th week of Daniel as futuristic. He has used Pastors, Left Behind movies, books, etc.

But when you understand that the 70th week of Daniel has been fulfilled, and that it’s not an end-times 7-year tribulation period; most of the enemy’s deceptions about prophecy fulfillment crumble to the ground.

The Revelation Timeline Decoded Bible study series gives you the proof that the Popes of Rome are the beast of Revelation, the Little Horn of Daniel and the Son of Perdition.

End-times people like to hear fables:

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” (2Ti 4:3-4)

We all know, all these “left behind” books and movies, with vehicles left without drivers and airplanes without pilots that crash everywhere, all that sells. A millions dollars industry…

Yeah Marc, it’s hard to watch people being deceived, and the deceivers making money doing it. People like dramatic explanations. I think that the historical fulfillment of the 70th week of Daniel is dramatic, as it was the high point of this world, when Messiah died as the Passover Lamb for our sins; and then rose again! 🙂

“This is the very reason that the end times 7 year tribulation deception was created by the Roman Catholic Church.”

It’s even possible that it’s a whole end times 70 weeks (490 years) deception:
In year 1535, the Vatican ordered the painting of the Sixtin Chapel representing end times, the same year that Suleiman the Magnificent ordered the reconstruction of the walls of Jerusalem, after having received a “vision of God”. It looks like a second fulfillment of Daniel 9 starting in 1535AD, with the 69th weeks ending in… 2018!, and the 70th week ending in 2025, that curiously is short of another 7 years period until 2032 that is two days (or 2000 years if 1 day = 1000 years) since the crucifixion (“After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight” of Hosea 6:2). It look’s like a second fulfillment of Daniel 9. At the first fullfilment, the walls of Jerusalem were rebuilt but later demolished again, but since the walls were rebuilt after the year 1535AD, the walls were never demolished. They are still standing here now, making the second fulfillment looking even better, with the six days war occuring after 62 “weeks” and the recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel after another 7 weeks… It’s very strange!

Marc, I don’t believe in multiple fulfillment of prophecy. Sure, there are generic things that happen over and over, but when it comes to a specific prophecy like the 70 weeks of Daniel, I believe that there’s only one fulfillment.

The 70th weeks pointed to the rebuilding of the city and temple, which was desolated by the Babylonians. And the 70th week pointed to the arrival of the promised Messiah. http://70thweekofdaniel.com/an-end-times-70th-week-of-daniel-is-illogical/

So, what I wanted to say, is that it’s a man-made 2nd fulfillment, a COMPLETE 70 weeks deception (not only a 70th week deception)?

That’s interesting Marc. I’ve only really seen people applying the 70th week to the future, not the whole 70 weeks.

What I think is that the devil is not stupid, but very wily. To be able to deceive as many people as possible – “if it were possible even the elects” – a simple appearance of an antichrist cannot work as everybody know that the second coming of Christ only happens after him. But by creating a false fulfillment of Daniel 9, with a false antichrist in the 70th weeks, then the true antichrist that follows the false one can easily deceive people into believing that he is the Christ, since the false antichrist will have already been blasted (by him as a false miracle). Only this way may all people that are not true Christians be deceived… We are seing the whole world being made as horrible as possible, in preparation for the fake “peace and safety” time that will follow…

Now we have an interesting new:

“WASHINGTON – A LONG-AWAITED MIDDLE_EAST peace plan from the Trump administration will include what the White House is calling a ROBUST economic plan to help resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, an official has said.”

“LONG-AWAITED” — yet to be “confirmed”
“ROBUST” plan — “solid alliance”
“MIDDLE-EAST” (not only Israel / Palestine) — “with many”

confirm… solid alliance… with many…

Sounds like Daniel 9:27, no? And we are in the 70th week since Suleiman the Magnificent ordered the reconstruction of Jerusalem walls in 1535 AD…

You need to study a little more. It may be true that Rood and some others are mistaken. But, they are not false teachers. The true teachings of God is love and forgiveness. This brother you do not illustrate. Secondly, we are to study to show ourselves worthy. I’m sorry that I don’t agree with you but my seminary training did not teach what you are practicing. Why argue grow brother and teach yourself to be less critical.
God Bless You

I teach the truth out of love for the saints, and part of that role is exposing the false prophecy teachings of people like Rood.

I’ve proven out that the 70th week of Daniel was fulfilled on time, and that it’s not a futuristic 7-year tribulation period.

Most likely you were deceived about that at seminary, as the enemy has infiltrated the teachings of most seminaries and bible colleges.

There’s no argument. What Rood teaches about prophecy fulfillment is false, and it’s giving people who follow him, a false script, so that they may be misled by the antichrist and false prophet.

Is Rood teaching you that the office of the papacy, the Popes of Rome, fulfill prophecy as the Son of Perdition and the antichrist beast?

Is Rood teaching you that most of Revelation has already been fulfilled during the last 1,900 years, as Satan has used the Roman beast to fight against Messiah and His saints?

Here’s a Revelation Fulfillment Summary that gives the big pictures, and the studies on the website prove it out verse by verse.

Is Rood teaching you that Messiah’s Olivet Discourse was fulfilled in that generation, just like Messiah’s proclaimed that it would be?

You need to study a lot more Gary, for you will be held accountable for what you teach about prophecy fulfillment.

May the Spirit of our Father guide you to the truth!
David

Rev. Nathaniel J. Merritt January 5, 2019 at 5:26 pm

Hello.

I am 65 years old and have been a minister of the Evangelical Church Alliance since 1980. My studies in Scripture have been deep and wide ranging. You should come to a clearer understanding of the Hebrew word olam and its derivative. This entry from my upcoming book, God willing, should prove helpful.

The Hebrew language also has a word that has been dragged through the mud of the Latin language and twisted in the sick mind and dark heart of the Big Whore which uses Latin for everything. (I thank God that He did not see fit to inspire either the Hebrew Scriptures nor the Christian Scriptures in Latin.) The Hebrew word I am speaking of is olam and the term l’olam va’ed. Neither of these mean eternal, everlasting, or forever. Here is their definition from a Jewish source, jewishroots.net: “The Hebrew word olam means in the far distance. When looking off in the far distance it is difficult to make out any details and what is beyond the horizon cannot be seen. This concept is the olam. The word olam is also used for time in the distant past or in the distant future as a time that is difficult to know or perceive. This word is frequently translated as eternity or forever in the English language but it is misunderstood to mean a continual span of time that never ends. In the Hebrew mind it is simply what is at or beyond the horizon, a very distant time. A common phrase in the Hebrew is “l’olam va’ed” and is usually translated as “forever and ever” but in the Hebrew it means “to the distant horizon and again” meaning “to a very distant time and even further” and is used to express the idea of a very ancient or future time.” Sheol, Hades, Gehenna, Tartarus are all of limited duration not eternal. To believe these are eternal is to bite into one of the biggest lies of the Big Whore and thereafter to have a mutant Bible with a mutant “gospel” and a mutant message to carry to the world. An ugly message of eternal wrath, eternal bondage, and eternal torture. A terrifying and horribly twisted message indeed.

Please feel free to email me for additional information and/or clarification.

In Christ Jesus our Reigning God,
Rev. Nathaniel J. Merritt

Hello Rev. Merritt, thank you for sharing that insight! You’re commenting on a website about the 70th week of Daniel, but I’m not seeing how the concept of olam applies in this context. Please let me know.

I agree about people not being condemned to hell forever. I don’t believe in eternal wrath either.

Thank you, David

I take the preterist view of Rev, and what applies in Dan. as well. Rev. is a prophecy for the people of the first century church about the forthcoming destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70. All of the symbolic “animals” and “people” are either actual historic people or nations, and are hidden because of the persecution by Rome of the Christians of that time. Has NOTHING to do with any futuristic occurrence for us. So many are frightened (to death literally) by the misinterpretation of Rev. People committing suicide, babies killed, aborted because of the fear of “going through” this tribulation thing. Totally false. Talk about false teachers: I would say 99.99% of the Christian church teach falsely about Rev. Dan., and it really disturbs and grieves me.

If the preterist view of prophecy is true, then that means that our Messiah had nothing to say to His Church about the following events which occurred during the last 1,900 years:

Satan using the Roman Empire to kill 10 million saints, in his attempt to wipe out the Early Church.

The fall of the mighty Roman Empire from civil war, disease, famine and financial collapse.

Roman Emperor Constantine and the Roman Bishops creating a new pagan religion of Christianity, the Roman Catechism, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Army after army attacking the great Roman Empire to desolate it, causing the last Roman Emperor to be removed from power in 476 A.D.

The rise of the Popes of Rome to power in the 6th century, who went on to relentlessly burn the Holy Scriptures and kill the saints during the Dark Ages and the Inquisition, during which over 50 million saints were killed.

The Popes of Rome proclaiming blasphemous things, such as they are God, that they forgive sins, that they control the whole world, and condemning saints as heretics.

The translation of the Scriptures into English, German, and other languages, after it had been hidden for so long in Latin by the Papal Church. And the advent of the printing press, which caused Bibles to spread around the world.

Martin Luther, a Catholic Monk, being led to read the Bible to see that the Papal Church was a false Church, a Harlot Church. He responded by posting his 95 Thesis, which sparked the Protestant Reformation, causing millions of people to be saved by faith, come out of the Catholic Church and form the Protestant Churches.

The rise of the Jesuit Order, which the Roman Catholic Church empowered, to counter the Reformation, to bring the Protestants back under their power.

The Spanish Inquisition and wholesale slaughter of the saints in France, by order of the Pope of Rome.

The French Revolution and Napoleonic Wars, which killed many Catholics, in countries which had previously killed the saints.

The time of the Great Awakening when missionaries traveled around the world spreading the Good News.

All of those events and much more were pointed to by Messiah in His apocalpytic vision.

The Historicist view has been proven out, as most of Revelation has been fulfilled in exacting detail during the last 1,900 years. Here’s a website that proves it out. http://revelationtimelinedecoded.com

Sadly, most Christians are already fooled about the antichrist, as the office of the papacy, the Popes of Rome, fulfill Bible prophecy as the Little Horn of Daniel 7, the Son of Perdition of 2 Thessalonians 2, and the antichrist beast of Revelation; who leads the harlot church of Rome, which now deceives 1.2 billion Catholics with a false salvation message. http://revelationtimelinedecoded.com/prophecy-points-to-the-leader-of-the-roman-beast/
