Before I begin my review of Lee Brainard’s explanation, let me declare that I do these type of reviews, not just to expose false teachers; but to show what they teach, which you may have also been taught, so that you can see the truth and the deception.
These reviews serve as an open rebuttal of their explanations. It’s not about me, it’s about the truth of prophecy fulfillment which reveals the glory of our beloved Messiah!
Within the first eight seconds of this video from Lee Brainard of Prophecy Watchers, he’s already identified himself as a futurist who teaches that the 70th week of Daniel 9 is yet to be fulfilled.
Any teacher who is basing their explanation of Revelation on the concept of a future 70th week of Daniel 9, the 7-year tribulation period, is misleading you.
The false concept of a 7-year tribulation period is based on the 70-weeks of Daniel 9 prophecy. The prophecy foretold when Messiah would appear to carry out His ministry, and when (in the middle of the 70th week) He would confirm the (everlasting) covenant (that was mentioned in Daniel 9:4) with His blood as the Passover Lamb, to atone for our sins.

In this video, Lee Brainard of Prophecy Watchers explains why he thinks that the two witnesses appear in the second half of the 70th week of Daniel 9.
His premise of the prophecies in Revelation being fulfilled during a future 70th week of Daniel 9 are based on a faulty foundation, as it’s not about the end times or the antichrist.
The truth is that most of the prophecies in Revelation have been fulfilled during the last 1,900 years as the Satan-empowered leaders of the Roman beast kingdom (pagan Emperors > antichrist beast popes > false prophet Jesuit Superior Generals) have made war with Messiah and His saints.
The two witnesses, the Scriptures and the saints, have already testified against the antichrist beast popes during their 1,260-year reign of power from 538-1798 AD.

All families of the earth have been grafted into the family vine of Israel by intermarriages over thousands of years. This is why there are only twelve gates into New Jerusalem, each with the name of an Israelite tribe. We are at the end of this age, at the end of the third day. Everyone today has some of Abraham’s and Jacob’s DNA and are the family of Israel.
DANIEL’S 70 WEEK PROPHECY
In scriptural numerology the number 70 represents Israel’s punishment and restoration. We are all Israel today, and look at the mess the world is in. Father Yhovah used the Babylonian captivity as a type of this punishment. At the end of the Babylonian captivity a remnant was sent to restore Jerusalem and at the end of the age an Elect remnant will go home as New Jerusalem. The prophet Jeremiah was given a prophecy against Babylon.
Jeremiah 25:12
And it shall come to pass, when seventy years are accomplished, that I will punish the king of Babylon, and that nation, saith the LORD, for their iniquity, and the land of the Chaldeans, and will make it perpetual desolations.
The king of Babylon is a metaphor for Leviathan and his kingdom of darkness, these antiChrist spirits will be punished at the end of the age. Perpetual desolation means destruction and misery, and this is happening in that area now, currently known as Syria, Iraq, and Iran. Now let’s return to Daniel’s prophetic vision:
Daniel 9:1-4
In the first year of Darius, the son of Ahasuerus, of the seed of the Medes, which was made king over the realm of the Chaldeans; 2 In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem. 3 And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes: 4 And I prayed unto the LORD my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love Him, and to them that keep His commandments;
Daniel made a very lengthy prayer of repentance for himself and the nation of Israel that extends through verse 20 when Gabriel arrived. Only a couple verses will be included here that have important information.
Daniel 9:7 and 11
O Lord, righteousness belongeth unto Thee, but unto us confusion of faces, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, that are near, and that are far off, through all the countries whither Thou hast driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against Thee. 11 Yea, all Israel have transgressed Thy law, even by departing, that they might not obey Thy voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against him.
The Israelite nation was cursed and scattered throughout the world, punishment for breaking the Eternal Law. A curse is what we reap when we sow sin and these are listed in Deuteronomy, Chapter 28.
Daniel 9:17-18 and 21
Now therefore, O our God, hear the prayer of Thy servant, and his supplications, and cause Thy face to shine upon
Thy sanctuary that is desolate, (ruined) for the Lord’s sake. 18 O my God, incline Thine ear, and hear; open Thine eyes, and behold our desolations, (poverty) and the city which is called by Thy name: for we do not present our supplications before Thee for our righteousnesses, but for Thy great mercies… 21 Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation (sacrifice of praise and worship).
The offspring of Father Yhovah are pure energy and fly around as orbs of light. They are shape-shifters and can manifest any why they want, with wings if that is what you believe, but I always see them in their natural state. Gabriel manifested in a body of flesh in the form of a man and actually touched Daniel to get his attention. Mikael and Gabriel are princes and brothers and there are many more.
Daniel 9:22-23
And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth (out of the spirit realm) to give thee skill and understanding (wisdom and knowledge). 23 At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to shew thee; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision.
This is one of many examples of the gifts of the Spirit being in operation thousands of years before the Pentecost after the crucifixion when some allege the Holy Spirit was given to man for the first time. What was given for the first time was tongues of fire, the spiritual prayer language.
Daniel 9:24
Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an
end of sins and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
Seventy represents the time of punishment and everlasting righteousness will be the beginning of the Millennial Reign.
Daniel 9:25-26
Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. 26 AFTER threescore (60) and two (2) weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for Himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof SHALL BE WITH A FLOOD, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
Jerusalem was rebuilt during Daniel’s life. Seven weeks represents Father Yhovah’s completion of perfect timing. The number 60 represents the pride of spiritual leaders who were in fear of losing power and 2 represents the division between them and Messiah Immanuel, definitely a lack of unity. The prince in verse 26 represents the antiChrist religion of Islam that has caused destruction and division throughout the world and in Jerusalem. There is no promise of peace, the end of the war is the Day of Wrath and I received a New Ocean prophecy that Father Yhovah also gave to His OT prophets.

Father Yhovah is going to make a new ocean that will connect the Mediterranean Sea with the Arabian Sea.
Zechariah 14:1 and 4-5 and 8 selections
Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall
be divided in the midst of thee… 4 And His feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. 5 … and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with Thee… 8 And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea…
On the Day of Wrath an earthquake splits Mt. Olive, forming a valley that connects the two oceans. Now, back to Daniel’s prophecy, but to get to the truth we have to use the unredacted Septuagint version of the OT, from which all other versions were derived. It uses the word on, but the translators of the KJB and Douay-Rheims (DRB) use the word in:
Daniel 9:27 Septuagint
And one week shall establish the covenant with many: and in the midst of the week My sacrifice and drink-offering shall be taken away: ON THE TEMPLE shall be the abomination of desolations; and at the end of time an end shall be put to the desolation.
One week represents our 7000-year earth age and final judgment, the end of the desolation. The abomination of desolation is the pagan mosque built on the ruins of the holy temple that will be destroyed on the Day of Wrath. In the middle of the age Messiah’s crucifixion ended legal blood sacrifices but the antiChrist priests continued sacrificing, so in 70 AD Father Yhovah had the temple destroyed by the Romans. Messiah Immanuel prophesied during the Sermon on the Mount:
Matthew 24:15 and 21-24
When ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place… 21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened. 23 Then, if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24 For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
Since the building of the mosque, and spread of the false Islamic religion, there has been much trouble, death and destruction, with millions of people murdered, and millions more in poverty and desolation. As I write this, we are in the year 5780 and many have been deceived into the idolatry of false religions and beliefs. On the Day of Wrath, the righteous people without spots will be caught up into the spirit realm and all others die the first death.

Considering that Rev 7:9 through 14 says that a great multitude of people from every nation, tribe and people and tongues that no one could number, we know that it isn’t just the Jews in Israel coming from the great tribulation.
I would say that the time of the gentiles trampling the temple has been the church age and that it is also the the time of the tribulation.
Steve, the main point of the video is that the 70th week of Daniel 9 has already been fulfilled, as it was about Messiah coming to carry out His ministry and die in the middle of the seven years to atone for our sins. Many Jews believed in Him, but the rest were left lost in their sins.
