The fulfillment of the 70th week of Daniel 9 is fairly straight-forward

Understanding the seven years of the 70th week of Daniel is very important, because of the truth of its fulfillment and the deceptions based on it.

The 70th week of Daniel 9 is the only prophecy that foretold when Messiah would start His ministry and die for our sins.  The context of Daniel 9 is that the Jews are at the end of their 70-year captivity, and Daniel is inquiring about what will happen to them.  Daniel is not seeking information about the end times or the antichrist, just about the destiny of the Jewish nation.  Daniel 9:24-27 gives the answer.

Seventy Shemitah cycles are determined for the Jewish people. The prophecy is pointing to seventy 7-year Shemitah cycles, which is ten 49-year Jubilee cycles. The first seven weeks of the prophecy point to seven 7-year Shemitah cycles, which is one Jubilee cycle of 49 years.

The commands from Cyrus and Darius were about the rebuilding the temple, not the city.

The timeline started with a command from Persian King Artaxerxes in 457 BC, so the 70th week occurred from 27-34 AD, which is the time frame in which we know Messiah carried out His ministry and died for our sins. This is confirmed by the book of 1 Esdras, which is an extension of the book of Ezra. And it’s validated, as a year of Jubilee took place in 457 BC, when the captive Jews were set free, confirming the starting year.

The command from King Artaxerxes in 445/444 BC was to restart the rebuilding of Jerusalem, as it had been stopped, which is why Nehemiah was so sad; so it’s not the correct decree.

Daniel 9:24 defines six things to be fulfilled during the 490 years.  The Jews cannot fulfill them.  Our Messiah did with His blood atonement that paid for transgressions and reconciled the Jews, and us, with the Father. Isaiah 53 foretold Messiah being wounded for our transgressions, our iniquities, when He was ‘cut off.

In Daniel 9:25-27, you see how the 70-weeks are structured. It started with 7-weeks (one Jubilee cycle) during which the Jews were empowered to rebuild Jerusalem. Then 62 weeks of mostly silence from the prophets. And then the pinnacle of the prophecy, the last 7-years of the 70th week. Daniel 9:25 points to Messiah the Prince appearing after 69 weeks. 9:26 points to Him dying after the 69 weeks, meaning in the 70th week. His multi-year ministry took place in the 70th week, starting with His Isaiah declaration and anointing at His baptism.

The ‘people of the prince’ are the Jews, who are declared in Daniel 9:24 as ‘thy people.Messiah the Prince is of the tribe of Judah, so the Jews are ‘the people of the prince.’

The Jews caused Jerusalem and the temple to be destroyed because they continued in their rebellion against the Heavenly Father and they rejected His Son and delivered Him up to be killed, so it was their punishment.

The Jews caused Jerusalem and the temple to be destroyed because they attacked the army of Cestius, killing thousands of soldiers, which incited the ire of the Roman Emperor who sent three legions of soldiers to Jerusalem to capture the Jews.

The Jews caused Jerusalem and the temple to be destroyed because they caused the peaceable Titus, who tried to get them to surrender, to order the desolation after being horrified by the Jews causing hundreds of thousands of their own people to die.

Daniel 9:25-26 points to Messiah the Prince, so the ‘he’ in Daniel 9:27 is still Messiah, who came to ratify the everlasting covenant in the middle of the 70th week.  The word ‘prince’ is the same Hebrew word, nagiyd. It makes no sense for the word prince to point to two different people. Many Jews believed in Messiah the Prince, 3,000 on Pentecost and more were added daily. Messiah’s Ekklesia was built on a foundation of Jews.

The 70th week of Daniel points to Messiah’s multiyear ministry, not just His death.

People who believe that the 70th week of Daniel 9 is yet to be fulfilled, proclaim that four days after the 69th week was fulfilled, Messiah entered Jerusalem to be ‘cut off,’ killed, fulfilling Daniel 9:26.

But the prophecy is not just pointing to Messiah coming to die, but to His multiyear ministry in which He said, ‘repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.’

It started when He was baptized by John, when the Spirit descended on Him, and the Father proclaimed ‘This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.’

Then He went into the synagogue, read the Isaiah passage and proclaimed that it was fulfilled in Him. His many miracles served to validate His authority.

On Passover, at the beginning of His ministry, He cleansed the temple, driving out the money-changers. Three years later He repeated this temple cleansing before He died as the Spotless Lamb on Passover.

Messiah confirmed the everlasting covenant of Daniel 9:4. Daniel 9:27 says that he ‘confirms’ the covenant, which means that the covenant already existed. We only have to look back to Daniel 9:4 to see that Daniel is pleading with the Heavenly Father to remember His covenant of mercy to those who love Him.

“And I prayed unto the LORD my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments.”

Messiah came to confirm the everlasting covenant that was made to Father Abraham, which needed to be ratified by the blood of Messiah, the Spotless Lamb.

Romans 15:8 says, “Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers.“

Galatians 3:17 says, “And this I say, that the law, which was four hundred and thirty years later, cannot annul the covenant that was confirmed before by God in Christ, that it should make the promise of no effect.”

Hebrews 13:20 says, “Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant.

Daniel 9:27 points to the timing of Messiah’s death, in the middle of the 7-years.  The word ‘for’ in Daniel 9:27 is added by the translators, making it seem to point to a 7-year covenant. It’s simply pointing to the last week of seven years.

Messiah’s death on the cross caused the need for temple animal sacrifices to cease, as He is the one-time atonement for sin. The Father validated this when He tore the temple curtain in two, though the rebellious Jewish leaders continued sacrifices until their judgment in 70 AD.

The deception is that the 70th week of Daniel hasn’t been fulfilled yet.

We’ve been told that it is about an end-times antichrist who makes a 7-year peace agreement with Israel, which starts a 7-year tribulation period.

The Jesuits created this deception in the 16th century to deflect blame away from the Popes of Rome, as the Protestant Reformers had rightly identified them as the Little Horn of Daniel, Son of Perdition of 2 Thessalonians 2, and antichrist beast of Revelation 13.

They had Jesuit Priest Francisco Ribera, a brilliant man with a doctorate in theology, write a 500 page commentary with an opposing view, where he manipulated prophecies in the books of Daniel and Revelation, to create the narrative of a one-man antichrist in an end-time 7-year tribulation. This idea, called Futurism, was quickly adopted as the Roman Catholic Church’s official position on the Antichrist.

The true Church effectively rejected these futuristic concepts until the 19th century, when the Jesuits caused several people to promote these concepts; including Pastor Edward Irving, John Nelson Darby and Cyrus Ingerson Scofield, which led to these deceptions being taught at Dallas Theological Seminary, where the leaven of the Jesuits deceptions have spread around the world.

The historical witness of the many persecuted believers and theologians of the past have been pushed aside, and futurism is now taught by most Pastors.

The 70th Week Of Daniel 9 Decoded

I understand that this explanation of the 70th week of Daniel may be new to you, so I want to step back and take a child-like, logical view of the prophecy.

Simply ask yourself:

How long does it take the Father to fulfill His own 70 week prophecy? The obvious and correct answer is 70 weeks.  If a 70 week prophecy is given and it is not fulfilled in 70 consecutive weeks, then the prophecy is not valid.

What week follows the 69th week? The obvious answer is the 70th week, but the enemy would have you believe that there is a 1,990+ year time gap between the 69th and 70th week, even though there is no such time gap defined in Daniel 9.

Daniel 9:25 mentions the arrival of the promised Messiah, and then Daniel 9:27 mentions a ‘covenant‘. Whose covenant do you suppose that it is referring to? Isn’t it logical to assume that it is Messiah’s covenant, as the reason that He came was to die to ratify the everlasting covenant with His blood as the Passover Lamb?

The text even proclaims that He was ‘cut off‘, meaning that He was killed, in the middle of the seven years, which matches Isaiah’s prophecy about the promised Messiah, in Isaiah 53:8, “He was taken from prison and from judgment. And as for His generation, who considered that He shall be cut off from the land of the living? For the transgression of My people He was stricken.

The consequences of the 70 Weeks of Daniel deception are grand!

The enemy’s end times deception is based on the concept of a futuristic 70th week of Daniel. It causes people to look for an end times one-man Antichrist, instead of identifying the office of the papacy as the beast of Revelation, the Little Horn of Daniel and the Son of Perdition.

This is the very reason that the end times 7 year tribulation deception was created by the Roman Catholic Church. They were being accused by the Protestant Reformers of being the Antichrist system who persecuted the saints. The Protestant Reformers told people to ‘come out of her‘, which caused millions of people to leave the Roman Catholic Church and be saved by the pure Gospel of Messiah.

The enemy has programmed our minds to view the 70th week of Daniel as futuristic. But when you understand that the 70th week of Daniel has been fulfilled, and that it’s not an end-times 7-year tribulation period; most of the enemy’s deceptions about prophecy fulfillment crumble to the ground.

The Revelation Timeline Decoded Bible study series gives you the proof that the Popes of Rome are the beast of Revelation, the Little Horn of Daniel and the Son of Perdition.

  1. David

I have a question regarding Yashua’s earthly ministry which seems to be an important element to the fulfillment of the 70th week of Daniel. What is the Scriptural proof that Yashua’s ministry was 3 1/2 years? I cant find any Scriptural basis for 3 1/2 years? It seems that if you do a chronological study you cannot get to 3 1/2 years. I know it’s something I’ve always been taught/told but I don’t want to just assume any longer that it’s accurate. So where did this idea originate since it seems to be widely accepted as factual?

    Thank you

    • Ben, the foundation of that is based on Daniel 9:26-27, which proclaims that the covenant would be confirmed with the Jews for seven years; and that Messiah would be killed at the midpoint of the seven years.

From that we can deduce that Messiah and His disciples preached the Gospel to the Jews during the first 3.5 years, before Messiah was killed. And then the disciples preached to the Jews, that Messiah died as the Passover Lamb and rose again; for the remaining 3.5 years; so that the Gospel was preached to the Jews exclusively for seven years. Then after that it was also preached to the Gentile nations.

Messiah would have been 30 years old, which is the tradition age for someone to start teaching, in the fall of year 27 A.D. Messiah died in the Spring of 31 A.D., which is 3.5 years later; so we have a match.

  2. When the Protestants of the Reformation said the Pope & Roman Church were AC they didn’t then say we’re all about to get raptured. They also didn’t say 7 years of tribulation aka Daniel’s 70th week is about to begin. They all knew Daniel’s 70th week was already fulfilled. Even Isaac Newton’s interpretation has it being fulfilled. They knew their Bible and they knew Bible history. Unfortunately, people today don’t know their Bible or Bible history or even Church history. They cling to the teachings of Cyrus Scofield yet disregard the teachings and words of Martin Luther, William Tyndale and other great reformers. Rome is laughing at all this confusion. So sad.

    • Thank you for your comment Rob! Yeah, sadly, the enemy has pushed aside the witness of the saints who have gone before us. A huge part of that has been through Dallas Theological Seminary, which has a direct connection to Scofield. Many of the popular Pastors graduated from DTS, so they teach the deceptions that originated with the Jesuits of Rome.

Thank you for the time and effort you’ve put into those videos and studies. It has opened my eyes and allowed me to build on my Bible studies in so many ways. I’m now able to show others the truth and show them the errors in the futurist theory straight from the Bible. They are stumped and I can tell they’ve never seen or heard a different side than futurism.

It’s frustrating how futurism and deflection away from Rome has overcome today’s church, however it has to be thru the will of God that Rome has been allowed to survive and pull the wool over people’s eyes. I know of a pastor in MD who knows full well the secret rapture theory was an invention of Rome & the Jesuits, but with so many churches down the street promoting that theory I don’t think he knows how to go about teaching against it. Would cause a major battle in the community.

        • Thank you for your comment Rob! Yeah, no doubt Pastors cave into peer pressure, instead of teaching the truth! It’s a sad state of affairs, which the many saints who have gone before us, who knew the truth about the 70th week of Daniel, would be appalled to see. Keep learning and growing in The Way! David

      • I cannot find anything good about Cyrus Scofield. Nothing! Amazing how his Bible has become so popular and people overlook or have no clue who he was. I think they’ve also tampered with Daniel 9:27. Older versions of the Bible say “Yet shall he confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in a half week he shall cause the sacrifice and oblation to cease:”

Notice by saying “and in A half week” introduces a new week outside of the one week. However, in today’s versions it reads, “in the midst of THE week”. Today’s version puts this half week inside of THE one week which plays to the futurist theory of a rebuilt temple and future antichrist breaking his peace treaty. Just by the use of “the” instead of “a” makes all the difference.

        • Thank you for sharing that insight Rob! Cyrus Scofield may have been a covert Jesuit, who was used to get their deceptions into American churches and seminaries. And then there was a direct link from him to Lewis Sperry Chafer, who founded Dallas Theological Seminary, where every student has to study his futuristic explanations; which originated from the Jesuits. http://70thweekofdaniel.com/how-the-leaven-of-the-70th-week-of-daniel-deceptions-spread/

Yeah, the wording of Daniel 9:27 makes a huge difference! The Scriptures Bible renders it as ““And he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week. And in the middle of the week he shall put an end to slaughtering and meal offering.”

  3. I recently received the answer to the question of the rapture timing and I received it directly from the Lord. When believers come together and they discuss, or argue the points of this doctrine, they tend to ignore the manifold wisdom of God. When Jesus was speaking to the disciples in Matthew 13 about why He spoke in Parables, He told them that a teacher in the Kingdom is like one who pulls old as well as new treasures out of the storehouse. He preferred to speak this way because He wished to impart wisdom into the hearts of the believers by making connections between the things they had been taught in the Old Testament with the things they were witnessing in that day, which we now know of as the New Testament. These connections are what I refer to as parable threads and you can find that when Jesus made a parable reference it always had its origins in the Old Testament. It was by making these connections that He was showing them the intent of the author, who is our Heavenly Father. What I mean to say is the same thing that 2 Peter 1:20 says which is to say that no scripture on its own is able to spell out the manifold wisdom of God. When you pull on one thread within the Bible, you will find it is connected to another, and another, until you have pulled and pulled and eventually unraveled the entire mystery of God. How can we read a verse and know how it relates to all the other verses unless we have an understanding of the overall message being spelled out by the Almighty? Jesus was making it plain as day when He drew our attention to these parables and explained what they were.

When a reader comes across the book of Revelation, it may appear that this is a uniquely different and brand new idea that stands apart from the rest of God’s Word and that is simply not so. The revelation given to John was the same revelation given to all of the Lord’s prophets, and not only the prophets, but also the psalmists, and not only the psalmists but it’s also patterned out in the historical accounts of key people whom God chose to use in the demonstration of His revelation.

The Tribulation is a period which has been referred to by God as the time of Jacob’s trouble, in order to understand Revelation we must understand the story of Jacob, who worked for seven years for the woman he loved, Rachel, whose hand in marriage was promised to Jacob by Laban. The Bible tells us that the time went by easily for him because he loved her so much. But then after the work was complete and the waiting was over, he was given a wedding and a wife who turned out to be Rachel’s sister Leah. Then Laban explained why he tricked Jacob and offered him Rachel as well, but only if he agreed to stay and work another seven years. Before he could do this thing he had to finish up the traditional bridal week with Leah first, and then he would receive Rachel. The Time of Jacob’s trouble is a reference to the fact that Christ originally came for His own people, Israel, but received a Gentile church before His bride of choice. God spoke often to the nation of Israel as if He were their husband:

Every year Israel would read the Song of Solomon out loud in the assembly to honor this special relationship they had with the God of Jacob.

Isaiah 54:6 [‘The Lord will call you back as if you were a wife deserted and distressed in spirit- a wife who married young, only to be rejected,’ says your God. ‘For a brief moment I abandoned you, but with deep compassion I will bring you back. In a surge of anger I hid my face from you for a moment, but with everlasting kindness I will have compassion on you,’ says the Lord your redeemer. To me this is like the days of Noah, when I swore that the waters of Noah would never again cover the earth. So now I have sworn not to be angry with you, never to rebuke you again. Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken for my covenant of peace be removed,’ says the Lord, who has compassion on you.]

Jeremiah 3:14 [‘Return faithless people,’ declares the Lord, ‘for I am your husband. I will choose you’]

The book of Hosea was a love story between the Lord and Israel. He showed them kindness though they deserved the fate of an adulterous. In verse 3:5 he says, [They will come trembling to the Lord and to His blessings in the last days.]

Several hints were dropped by Jesus to tell us how he would fulfill this plan of God for Israel. He spoke of the bridegroom in the parables and He also spoke of the last days and mentioned that they would be like the days of Noah. We also see references in the book of Revelation, well into the wrath of God, that the mountains and hills will be flattened by a shaking like no one has ever seen. This means He will always be with them after He comes back to fulfill these prophecies but until then, He has turned His back on them. This does not mean that they are not His people or that they don’t carry the financial blessings of the Lord and such. What it does mean is that they won’t see their messiah until they can say, “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”

When Jesus was rejected by Israel, He instead started the Church, also His betrothed, for which there are many references in the New Testament. The church now awaits the fulfillment of prophecy when their savior will come back for them and take them into the wedding supper of the Lamb where they, too, will be with Him forever more. Since the time of Jacob’s Trouble is a reference to these two brides and the last week of Daniel is a foretelling of that time, then we can see that the church is received before the seven year period and the nation of Israel is received after the seven year period.

The tribulation is also referred to by God as the travail of a woman in labor. In Matthew 24 Jesus is describing the tribulation and He mentions that when we see the signs of the end coming, we should know that it is the beginning of birth pains. Paul tells us in Romans 8 that we groan inwardly just as the whole of creation does in an eager anticipation for our adoption as sons and the redemption of our bodies. In Revelation we are told that the woman is about to give birth when the child is caught up and protected by the Lord. This symbolism is given in the Old Testament as well and it mysteriously spells out a birth which happens before the woman goes into labor: Isaiah 66:7 [Before she goes into labor, she gives birth; before the pains come upon her, she delivers a son. Who has ever heard of such things? Who has ever seen things like this? Can a country be born in a day or a nation be brought forth in a moment? Yet no sooner is Zion in labor than she gives birth to her children.] The body of Christ depicted as singular and as a product of Zion and the Lord. But Isaiah goes on to indicate that the Lord does not put the woman through labor for nothing, she still has to have a birth after the travail is over. The remnant of Israel!

Since we can see the pattern of an imminent pre-tribulation rapture in these parable threads, then there should be more connections that we can make in the Word to confirm that we’re on the right track. There are many, but for me the most convincing is the calendar of the Lord’s feasts.

He was the Lamb that taketh away the sins of the world during Passover,
He was the Bread of Life that was pierced, and broken during the feast of Unleavened Bread,
He was raised from the dead on the Day of First fruits as a wave offering before the Lord,
and the Holy Spirit was poured out on the Day of Pentacost.

Now, if the pattern holds, and with God it always does, then these are to follow:

The Feast of Trumpets where the arrival of a new year is anticipated by the blowing of trumpets with the final blast heard at dusk which is considered the twinkling of an eye.
The Day of Atonement where the High Priest makes atonement for the sins of Israel and the wrath of God is appeased.
The Feast of Tabernacles where the supplications of the faithful remnant of Israel ushers in the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

This order of remembrances places the rapture of the church before the tribulation and the second coming of Jesus after the tribulation.

I hope these words encourage you all for that is what we are commanded to do with the rapture testimony is to encourage one another.

    • Another indication of the rapture which is actually in the written understanding of the scripture is Daniel 12:2. Two groups of people are spoken about as being part of the resurrection, but by the wording of the verse we can clearly see that they do not make up the entirety of the population of the earth. The word, “many” is used to start this passage. What about those who are not a part of the many? How are they getting into heaven?

      Reply
      • Daniel 12:2 is not about the end times. It describes the time of Jacob’s Trouble, which took place from 66-70 A.D.; when 1.1 million Jews died in and around the small city of Jerusalem from: infighting, famine, pestilence, suicide, crucifixion and by the Roman sword.

The Abomination of Desolation, the Roman army (Luke 20:20-21), surrounded Jerusalem in 66 A.D., they built ramps up the walls, and were ready to take the city; when for no reason, they left. The Early Church obviously saw this sign, and they took the opportunity to escape to the mountains of Pella. The Jews, who did not know the sign, were emboldened, and they stayed.

Then three division of the Roman army surrounded the city, and camped out waiting their orders, as Emperor Nero had died. In 70 A.D., 1,290 days after the first division of the Roman army surrounded the city (the abomination of desolation), the Romans flooded the city, killing hundreds of thousands of Jews by the sword, and taking some captive. The siege lasted for 45 days, when it ended after the last stronghold of Jews, surrendered. 1,290 + 45 = the 1,335 days.

    • Thank you for your comment JonAlan! I respectfully disagree with your explanation, as it includes a supposed futuristic 70th week of Daniel.

The concept of a futuristic 70th week of Daniel is a deception from the Jesuits of Rome, who created it to deflect blame away from the Popes, as the Protestant Reformers had rightly identified them as the Son of Perdition and the antichrist beast.

      There is no future 7-year tribulation period, as the 70th week of Daniel was fulfilled on time, after the 69th week;

when Messiah and His disciples confirmed with the Jews that He is the promised Messiah who ratified the everlasting covenant with His blood, as the Passover Lamb.

The seven years ended after the Jewish leaders stoned Stephen to death, marking their final rejection of their promised Messiah. Then the book of Acts clearly shows a dramatic shift, as the Gospel was also preached to the Gentile nations.

Here is a study series that proves it out: http://70thweekofdaniel.com

As for Messiah’s Olivet Discourse in Matthew 24, the main topic was the desolation of the temple, which happened in 70 A.D. Messiah clearly said that all of the things that He just described would take place in that generation of Jews.

And indeed, there was famine, pestilence, rumors of wars, etc.

The disciples were persecuted, just as He said.

The temple was desolated, just as He said. The Sun, moon and stars, were diminished; as He was pointing to the end of the Jewish leadership system: the High Priest was the sun, the Sandhedrin the moon, and the priests the stars. Messiah came in power and glory, when He caused the people of the prince (Daniel 9), the Roman army, to desolate Jerusalem and the temple.

And there was great tribulation, as 1.1 million Jews died in and around the small city of Jerusalem; from famine, pestilence, infighting, suicide, crucifixion and by the Roman sword.

This study series explains the fulfillment of Messiah’s Olivet Discourse, which was about the Jewish nation being desolated in the 1st century; and it is not about the end times.

  4. Daniel 9:24 tells us that when the weeks are completed there will be no more transgressions and no more sins. John 1:8 says that if we consider ourselves to be without sin we deceive ourselves so the end of sin has not yet come. After all, this is what the righteous are all desperately longing for and we will all know when it has come.

In Matthew 24 The disciples asked Jesus, “what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?” In His answer to them He said that when they see the abomination of desolation spoken about by the prophet Daniel it would mean that a time of great tribulation has come. This tribulation will be greater than any other and there never will be another like it. He goes on to tell us that immediately after the tribulation there will be amazing signs in heaven and the appearing of the Son of Man to gather His elect from the earth.

The timing of the cutting off of the Messiah was given as 62 weeks after the command to rebuild the temple. The Jews have a double meaning for the word week. One of those meanings refers to the week of years also known as a Shemitah. Every week of years was constantly being counted and they would have known that this was the meaning once they saw that 62 weeks of days had gone by and nothing happening with Daniel’s prophecy. After more than 400 years they saw their Messiah and He was cut off but not for Himself.

Many have tried to calculate when the mystery week of prophecy would take place and the clues given by Jesus about it being at His second coming and also the time of the end where things will be at their worst in all of the ages of the world make it pretty clear that they haven’t happened yet.

We can estimate that we are getting very close to that time, however. Israel is now planning the construction of the third temple, for which, they have all the furniture and artifacts crafted and are training a team of priests to worship in right now.

There is a severe excitation in the Middle East to bring about an Islamic caliphate with their own prophecies indicating a return of the Mahdi who will supposedly have Christ with him who will execute the infidels and help destroy the little and big Satan.

We also see within the United States a great falling away and a taking up of idols in very public places like the Empire State Building and Washington DC.

And we see a sign in the sky this month of a woman with 12 stars upon her head, clothed with the sun and the moon at her feet with a planet at her center remaining in retrograde for the total length of a pregnancy which comes to a final exit from the middle section of Virgo at the day of the Feast of Trumpets which is the day associated with the rapture of the Body of Christ.

Yes, I think it will be VERY SOON!

      • Revelation 12 describes the birth of the Early Church, which was through much pain and suffering; as Satan used the Roman Emperors to try to wipe out the Early Church, killing 10 million saints.

Satan is the dragon, the serpent of old. And the Romans used a dragon on their banners.

Ultimately the saints prevailed, by the blood of the Lamb and the Word of their testimony. And the Roman Empire declined due to civil wars, famine and pestilence; and fell when armies attacked it, and removed the last Western Roman Emperor from power in 476 A.D.

    • Daniel 9:24 is not saying that all transgression would end, by the time that the 70 weeks were fulfilled. It is pointing to the Jews, who worst transgression was delivering their promised Messiah up to be killed. And Messiah’s blood sacrifice as the Passover Lamb ended the need for temple sacrifices (oblations), which was validated when the Father tore the temple curtain in two.

The Jews and Messiah fulfilled all that was described in Daniel 9:24. Here is the study that proves it out: http://70thweekofdaniel.com/messiah-fulfilled-the-purposes-of-daniel-924-during-the-70th-week-of-daniel/

The text clearly says that Messiah would appear after the 62 weeks, which was after the 7 weeks; so it is saying that Messiah would appear after the 69th week; meaning, in the 70th week.

The text clearly says that Messiah would be ‘cut off’, killed, in the middle of the last week, in the middle of the 70th week. And that His sacrifice would end the need for temple sacrifices, as His blood sacrifice as the Passover Lamb paid the price for all transgressions.

Messiah ratified the everlasting covenant as the Passover Lamb. It is not speaking about an antichrist peace agreement in a futuristic end-times 7-year tribulation period. http://70thweekofdaniel.com/the-covenant-of-the-70th-week-of-daniel/

One cannot insert a 2,000 year time gap in the middle of the 69th and 70th week, as the text does not define a time gap. And if if 70 week prophecy is not fulfilled in 70 consecutive weeks, then it is invalid.

As for the supposed Revelation 12 sign on 09-23-17, that is based on false premises.

The 12 stars are ALWAYS above Virgo’s head, in the 9 stars of Leo and the 3 stars of the constellation Coma Berenices, which means ‘diadem’, the crown. Spica does not mark Virgo’s left hip, it marks the wheat in her left hand, so Jupiter NEVER enters her body, but only passes through her left arm. This supposed fulfillment of Revelation 12 is a grand deception from the enemy!

  5. Actually, history does not bear out your testimony. The sacrifices continued for many years after the death and resurrection of Christ. When believers set out to prove a doctrine, it should always be as those who are teachable. Unfortunately, there have been many who have taken up sides on the end times prophecies within scripture. Instead of continuing this debate which is unedifying to the Body of Christ, I would like to offer a spiritual peace offering as a point of view for the subject.

There is a great hope that exists within the world today. Though society is decaying around us a chosen and transformed people are following marching orders from a heavenly commander who has promised them something. An end to the struggle against sin and against a common enemy, who is Satan. We’re driven by a glorious enthusiasm for a future that even angels have tried to look into but have failed. I submit that the future arrival of the Lord and the subsequent reshaping of the planet is the main focus and purpose behind this faith. Without it, this would all be meaningless. There is no greater thing for me than the transformative love that pours out from the heart of He who is shining like a morning star into our spirit and giving us gladness to replace our sorrows. I will worship my King, my friend, my comforter and my hero; for He is the Lord that remembers! He has not forgotten His promises and very soon He will swiftly bring them to fruition. There is a resurrection of the dead and it is my exceedingly great joy to live in a time and among a generation of people that may not taste of death and, therefore, be instantly caught up to be with Him in glory. For we have been fixed within Christ as members of His heavenly body which is the New Jerusalem which will come down from heaven. As this day approaches, we who have been filled with the Holy Spirit are receiving dreams, visions and great revelations. These impartations are in agreement with the others and they are accelerating like a stop watch that is counting down to midnight. They all share the theme of the Bridegroom coming to call us away to hide us in His house that He has prepared for us and some of the revelations have revealed what will be happening during the King’s reign here on earth. The Spirit who says all these things to us is the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead and testifies with us that we are His children and, now, enables us to know the mind and heart of Abba; Father. There is no counterfeit available in this world or the next for the working of His Spirit, though many have doubted because of the fear that there may be.

    • Jonathan, Messiah’s death ended THE NEED for additional sacrifices, as He ratified the everlasting covenant with His blood as the Passover Lamb; which paid the price for all sins. And we know that the Father confirmed this when the temple curtain was torn in two.

The Jewish High Priest and leaders did not accept the promised Messiah, so they continued making sacrifices.

The sacrifices were stopped when the temple was destroyed and the Jewish leadership system diminished, in 70 A.D.; which is the proper context of the Olivet Discourse, Daniel 9 and Daniel 12.

      • Yes, but to say that this was the 70th week of Daniel leaves much of the scriptures out. Not to mention that it would mean that a majority of the church has been in error for centuries; God manages His people better than that. Those that are led by the Spirit have always been present among us to guide us into all truths.

        • To say that a 70 week prophecy was not fulfilled in 70 consecutive weeks is illogical!

All that was defined to happen in the 70 weeks, was fulfilled. And the result of the Jews rejecting their promised Messiah and delivering Him up to be killed, was played out within that generation of Jews; just like Messiah said, as recorded in Matthew 23 and 24.

The majority of the saints knew the truth for many hundreds of years. It’s only during the last few centuries that the futuristic deceptions have taken hold in the church.

Read the explanation from the protestant reformers of the 16th century, they knew the truth about the 70th week. http://70thweekofdaniel.com/geneva-bible-commentary-on-the-70-weeks-of-daniel/

          • The Jews having rejected the Messiah is exactly the reason why the prophecy was interrupted. When God prophecies, through Jonah, that Nineva would be destroyed, they repented and the prophecy was interrupted. It’s not that strange to say that God does this. I’m a little Leary about reading material that steps outside if the instructions given me directly by God. I can’t help but wonder, though; do you believe in a second coming of Christ?

          • Read Acts and you see that on the day of Pentecost, Jews from all over the world had gathered in Jerusalem, and when they heard the gospel in their language, 3,000 Jews believed in Messiah that day. And no doubt they returned home and preached to other Jews.

Acts 2:41 “Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls”.

The disciples kept preaching to the Jews and Acts 4:4 reports, “Howbeit many of them which heard the word believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand.”

Acts 5:14 “And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.”

Acts 5:42 “And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.”

Acts 6:7 “And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.”

So we can clearly see that Jews did accept Messiah, and that the foundation of the church was built on these believing Jews.

The hard-hearted Pharisees, who Messiah said were a generation of vipers, who were of Satan; yes, they rejected Messiah and delivered Him up to be killed. If all Jews had accepted Him, He would not have been delivered up to be killed.

So your point has no merit.

Do I believe in a second coming of Messiah? Absolutely, and we are in the middle of the 6th bowl, in which Messiah proclaimed that He is coming as a thief in the night. He will be as a thief to those who don’t know prophecy fulfillment.

Here is a Revelation fulfillment summary study, which shows how much has already been fulfilled during the last 1,900 years (most of it); where we are at now on the fulfillment timeline (in the 6th bowl); and what will happen next as we await Messiah’s return. http://revelationtimelinedecoded.com/revelation-fulfillment-timeline-summary/

I pray that you consider that I am in your path for a reason. I don’t know all prophecy fulfillment, but I know a lot. You’ve been given links to the studies. I pray that you read them and consider the explanations, for they are not just my explanations, for many saints taught the same things during the 16th-20th centuries, before the futuristic deception crept into the church.

  6. Hello.

My name is Brendan and I’m feeling a bit anxious about the September 23 2017 prophecy that will be fulfilled on that day? Can you please help me why?

    • Hello Brendan,

I researched this and found out that there are ALWAYS 12 stars above Virgo’s head, in the 9 stars of Leo and the 3 stars of the constellation Coma Berenices, which means ‘diadem’, the crown. Spica does not mark Virgo’s left hip, it marks the wheat in her left hand, so Jupiter NEVER enters her body, but only passes through her left arm. Be careful, as this supposed sign may be a setup from the enemy, to cause Christians to be disappointed if/when Messiah doesn’t return. http://revelationtimelinedecoded.com/revelation12sign

  7. If your theology is right. You leave revelation and old testaments end time prophecies «not understandable» and open for wide discussions and a lots of «we dont know»’s

There were no floods in 70ad as daniel says.
-what about the old man coming, «old of days» with the book..
The gap you present with you understanding of scriptures is much bigger than the
One week of tribulation in the end times

All the rumors of wars and earthquakes
All Islands moving from theyre places
Moon dark, sun dark as a sack of hairs etc etc

And the historical facts about those times are not equal with yours.

What exactly is about to happen next for us christians/jews/nonbelievers
    In your understanding of endtimes?

    Is all revelation done with?
You can really fit your belief in the word of Gid to some point, but then it stops. What is next? I cannot fully commit to your understanding when YOU who declare yourself sitting on the truth, answer people YOU considerr tobe in the dark with demanding them answer YOUR questions before you will answer theyres?! Thats not LOVE. Its YOU who has put this on web. And when people trues to understand what you believe, and points out things they find «weak» then you SHOULD tesch them the WHOLE TRUTH as Jesus say HE DOES. And not leave people in the dark. Thats scary enough for me .. i dont find thats love… thats tryin to convince people of YOUR belief . Because YOU where not «safe» and steady in the beginning with. Studying to become apart of a system is not the same as your lost if youre not convinced to a belief that is not proven to be aligned with the Word. You present a little puzzle and leading many christians away from theyre future hope. But you are not shure what will happen next? Beacause you have not the scripture for it. Youve already used them. So who is in the dark or light, truth/ not truth about the end times? Those who is in the light, and align with the word of God, WILL gladly lead others to the truth. NOT demanding answer to questions before answering back.
