Dr. John Barnett of Discover the Book Ministries says that the decree to start the 70 weeks of Daniel 9 took place in 445 BC.
The seventy weeks of Daniel 9 prophecy is pointing to seventy Shemitah cycles, which is 490 years. Seven years is seven years. It’s not based on the Hebrew thought of 360-day years, so applying that concept to this prophecy is misguided.
Besides that, the decree by Persian king Artaxerxes in 445 BC was to restart the rebuilding of Jerusalem, as it had been stopped, which is why Nehemiah was so sad.
Persian king Artaxerxes issued his first decree in 457 BC, which places the 70th week of Daniel as taking place from 27-34 AD. This fits in with Messiah dying in the middle of the seven years, in 30 or 31 AD.

He declares in the video that Daniel 9:24 says that the prophecy is for thy people, the Jews. That is who the ‘people of the prince’ in Daniel 9:26 are, we don’t get to apply a different definition!

Revelation 19 states that the antichrist beast and false prophet are captured, and then in Revelation 20 Gog and Magog are stirred up by Satan to attack. That proves that the antichrist beast and Gog are not the same person.
Besides that, the office of the papacy, the Popes of Rome, fulfill Bible prophecy as the ‘little horn’ of Daniel 7, the ‘son of perdition’ of 2 Thessalonians 2, and the ‘antichrist beast’ of Revelation 13, who leads the ‘harlot’ church of Rome.
And Gog is Lord Rothschild, an evil servant of Satan. Magog is the Khazar Jews who are Jews by religion, not blood. They are people who converted to Judaism and revere the Satanic Babylonian Talmud and Egyptian Kabbalah, and use the sorcery to steal, kill and destroy.
They are the Khazar Jews who lived in Khazaria and when they were pushed out of the area, they fled primarily into Russia and Poland. From there they migrated into Palestine. The Israeli Prime Ministers changed their last names to appear more Jewish.
These are the people of which Messiah proclaimed in Revelation 3:9 that they are ‘of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie.’
They were peaceful with the Palestinians initially, but then they destroyed hundreds of unwalled villages in Palestine and killed many Palestinians. They have stolen the land.

The 70th week of Daniel 9 is about Messiah’s ministry and His blood sacrifice as the Spotless Lamb to atone for our sins. It has nothing to do with the antichrist or the end times.
The Olivet Discourse foretold the events that would lead to the desolation of Jerusalem, the second temple and the Jewish nation; as punishment for the Jewish leaders continuing in rebellion against the Heavenly Father and for delivering His Son up to be killed. It has nothing to do with the antichrist or the end times.
Most of the prophecies in Revelation have been fulfilled in exacting detail during the last 1,900 years. It describes the historical narrative of the Satan-empowered leaders of the Roman beast kingdom (pagan Emperors > antichrist beast Popes > false prophet Jesuit Superior Generals) fighting against Messiah and His saints.
The explanations of Dr. John Barnett of Discover the Book Ministries serve to deflect blame away from the enemy in Rome, and to mislead the end-times saints so that they’re not prepared for how the end-times will play out, and don’t know the context of Messiah’s return.

GOG is used to represent antiChrist spirits in sinning believers in chapter 20 of the Revelation. At the time of the Ezekiel prophecy, about 400 BC, Gog was a pagan king over the countries of Magog, Meshech, Rosh, and Tubal.

These countries today are mostly antiChrist Islamists and in conflict. Father Yhovah is against them, as well as several other countries He told Ezekiel about, listed in:

While most of these countries are north of the present-day country of Israel, that is not the meaning in that verse. North quarter is a metaphor for the adversary’s antiChrist kingdom of darkness.

The Israelites that migrated into Germany and Eastern Europe are named after Gomer’s son Ashkenaz. These descendants are Gomer and all his bands and are prophesied against because they are antiChrist, rejecting Messiah Immanuel.

Gog represents antiChrist spirits and today the land of Israel is the entire planet Earth. The great shaking is the earthquake that begins the final judgment on the Day of Wrath.
